Relinquish now, oh weary heart

Such dreams cant let me be

Broken severed torn away

I shall not covet thee

Abandon such, my shackled soul

For whom, I cannot see

Bandaged bleeding in breathing still

I shall not covet thee

Forsaken now imprisoned thoughts

Whos core cannot be freed

Torn corrupted still so cold

I shall not covet thee

Bayed unto each frozen breath

My chilled and longing sea

My ship I fear has long since sailed

Sailed forth and without me.

In troubled dreams I toss and turn

Why cant you let me be

I try and try and still I seem

To always covet thee

I live and die and bleed

..I cry

The pain that dwells in me

in life asured, but in death perhaps…

I shall not covet thee

I loved your use of Repetition to get your point across. Your form of rhetric is very powerful in this piece. "To always covet thee I live and die and bleed" My heart skipped a beat. ][ ][
