am I your baby
the one you’re needing
or just a tourniquet
to slow your bleeding
To slow the beating
Of a heart still broken
It pains my ears
These wurdz you’ve spoken
And though the token
Of love seems nice
I’m not the one
To act as your vice
And at what price
Does this love come
Wait for a moment
Can’t live off this crumb
See, I’m not the one
And this fading ember
Will never be more
Than a fling to remember

Love is so much
And love is so pure
So don’t say those words
Till you’re totally sure
It takes so much more
Than forming the sounds
It takes sweaty palms
And TWO hearts that pound
When you come around
It may be too late
My love is that which
Turns lust into hate
Trust it was fate
That led you to me
For truth in this world
Is hardest to see
So I set you free
To roam through tha timber
Take with you this knowledge
From a fling to remember
