Linen rags that flowed like water
Haggered draped on fragile shoulders
And bending just before the breaking
A bag of bones that carried her
Heartless faces only saw through her
None to match the painful gaze
She knows she has no future
She knows there’s no recourse
But faith is all shes ever known
She thrives on each purposeful sunrise
Lonely companies those of pain
And offers none to solace
If faith gives hope to no one
She has but one last breath
Which perhaps she can surrender to time
Atlast receive her gift…
But such a wait
Is eternal long
For a baron womb
That can bare no daughter
And bare no son
