A broken heart-
Banished as kindling
A sedated soul-
Exiled to loneliness

Baring the wounds of a relentless battle
Which daily fought to tear me down
Your immortal wall, built by your own heart
Destined to lock itself away from mine

A myriad of pain to torment the lonely
When you choose to close off
The pleasures of tomorrow, lost in yesterday
If only… you could only… let me in
