Her

I met someone today,
amongst the crowded chaos of my daily itinerary
Insidiously, she hid herself within the confines of the other jaded faces
But compel me she did
So confidently I approached her
Never had I met someone such as her
She is strong as steel
Cunning as a lynx
Mindful and watching as an owl
I had no idea she existed?
Slightly used, but not tained
Somewhat caty, but understanding
This girl who takes my breath away
This girl I?ve waited twenty years to discover.
