The ground shifts once again
Knocking me off my feet
I'm getting almost used to it by now
In my search for where to stand
It seems that early on, when looking for the truth
I lost my way
Veered from the beaten path
I hadn't been myself
Didn't know who that was
Rather, the masses owned my actions
Their attention was my fuel
Society's drone, molded to perfection
Till I decided to emerge from this box
The box containing thinking of our day
There is no guide where I am now
No one's been there before
Or have they?...nevermind
Where I go, I go alone
My actions finally my own

I feel like I can relate to this piece. It's very hard to live for yourself these days. It's too easy to fall into some form of rank.
