Lain together upon the sands of time
We're to share these secrets;
In sweet embrace, I longed for eternity.

In reverence I whispered,
Just to be unheard.
Listlessly I breathe to be;
But only for her humour.

It is as if she stares razors
- And diamond tipped, her glare -
Ripping right through my very soul..

Emeralds and gold are coal
Though she is divinity;
My paradigm, the paramount..
(Second to nothing)

Caught in the moment, a shining tear
Fell as the moment ceased to be.

I cannot tell you how many times I have come back to this, stuttering over myself.. speechless.. those last lines resonate throughout my very core. Exquisite.

what seemed like forever ends so fast. The seconds stanza was beautiful, tells how easy it was to enjoy yourself during this moment. good write.
