My Angel Of Deceit
Watch as an angel stares into the sky
The beauty of is causes you to look twice
I stare as silver tears bead her lashes
Thin trails down her cheeks

White-blond hair trailing in the wind
Shimmering blue eyes stare at the heavens
White cloths draped upon her lithe form
The sun just beginning to rise

I feel as though I could die happy
Just this sight branded into my mind
I would give anything for this creature
To make her happy once more

I feel myself slipping from this reality
Not caring anymore, only to stay with her
I slowly fall as though a force softening my decent
I slip to the ground my eyes struggling to stay open

I try to stare at the angel above me
But to no avail, I start to die
I watch as a small smile curves her mouth
My heart catches in my throat

It is the most beautiful thing in this world
I know I am now dieing and I wont stop it
I long to be with her, for her to cradle me
For her love in my heart, forever

She kneels before me, hand touching my face
It feels like the softest of silk against my skin
I sigh against her fingertips, and struggle closer
I never want to leave her, I want her to be mine

She leans down her face descending towards mine
Whispered words are spoken in my ear
She mocks me with her child-like voice
A fool that I am, I believed

An angel of hell, to lure the pure
With the belief of safety with in her arms
The lie now apparent, when I cannot stop it
I am too far gone to save myself

I do not even know if I truly wish to
To stay in this demon-child’s arms
Or alone in this cruel world of mine
I find an easy answer in my mind

I will suffer through the pain of hell
To stay with this creature forever
For I love my angel of deceit
And will never stop

I welcome all the pain I deserve
For my betrayal to the light
For one more second
Of her loving radiance

I welcome it all
And I regret none
I live for her
And now I die

All for her…
