Goodbye middle class America
Do you feel the economic crunch?
Do you work two jobs to keep gas in your car
While you can’t afford to buy yourself lunch?
Goodbye middle class America
Are your taxes being raised up higher?
Did you vote for the man who promised to lower them?
Do you dare to call him a liar?
Goodbye middle class America
Did you see the new houses they built?
Can you afford a mortgage for 400K?
Or did the pinball game suddenly flash “tilt”?
Goodbye middle class America
Are you being burdened by your bills?
Can you afford your health insurance?
Can you afford prescription pills?
Goodbye middle class America
Have you taken a look at your school?
Do they allow you to be creative,
Or do they teach you that’s not cool?
Goodbye middle class America
Remember “no one is left behind”
But they only teach you to follow them
By being deaf, and dumb and blind.
Goodbye middle class America
Have you noticed they’re wearing you out?
Make you struggle and slave for a living
So you’re too tired to figure it out?
Goodbye middle class America
Watch your children die off in a war
Are they hiding the reason they lead them to slaughter
Or did you think oil doesn’t matter anymore?
Goodbye middle class America
Have you seen what has happened to the poor?
Without government handouts they couldn’t survive
So they won’t raise angry voices anymore.
Goodbye middle class America
Only the upper class is meant to survive.
The rich are just sheep to follow the elite.
Do you think they will let you survive?
Goodbye middle class America
Do you know it is you that they fear?
If anyone has reason to protest it’s you
But your voices fall on politically deaf ears.
Goodbye middle class America
The last place where revolution could exist.
If they want to eliminate the chance to be found out
Guess who is on the top of their list?
Goodbye middle class America
The government is winning its game.
It’s catered to the rich embryonic slaves
And left free thinkers without a name.
