You look as though
You’d like to hit me
And I’d relish in your touch
I burn in the fires of your hatred
For some secret treachery
You like to imagine I’ve done
I wish I could say I hate you too
But all the things I’ve learned
Have taught me only pity
For the things you throw away
Will always come back to haunt you
And someday you’ll realize what you had
Am I so easy to cast aside? Well just wait
I’ll move on and you’ll be lost
Without this puppet to billow you up
Even now, you’re just a lonely lost boy
Scared and hungry but you won’t take this bone
I will feel no guilt
When you die
