                I’ve never written about abortion
To me the subject’s too near
I don’t know how to put my thoughts to words
I feel it in my bones every day and every night
I find myself lingering on the term
                            Abortion
                    If there’s an uglier word
                       I’ve never heard it
                Don’t get me wrong
                            I am very pro choice
I had the choice and I took it
                      Just 17 years old
                   My baby just seven weeks
                       My baby no longer
I would never take that choice away from
                    Someone in my same place
                   But given the choice again
I would have a happy healthy four year old boy

I dont know what my view on it is. I have choosen to not decide in a way. In alot of ways abortion is a symbol to me on how we fall short of what we want in life, and what we want life to be.

The ideal life ... I blame society and misunderstood women liberation for some, in the ideal society there would be room, help and respect for young mothers in my opinion. I mean a womens body can best handle giving birth between 16 and 18 years ...

... but to give birth at an age where you get the most healthy child is frowned upon today for many reasons, and it will ruin status, education ect ect ect. And most wont get help by family in raising at that age. That part is sad ...

damn thats deep, i guess sometime in life we all make choices that we wish we could change but cant some may not be as deep as yours but in all and all its how you live with these decisions that determine who you are, thanks for sharing
