Upon the wall,
So long they are writ,
The names of the soldiers,
Who never did quit.
Honor bound,
They fought this desolate war,
As like a dream,
We go to the time before.
Back to the lands,
That were at war with each other,
Once they were known,
As sisters and brothers.
They fought with honor,
Their lives they did lose,
So to the U.S.,
They've paid their dues.
They deserve a clapping hand,
Cause they gave us their life,
And behind they may have left,
Some kids and a wife.
Look at them with pride now,
You one and all,
As you read the names,
Upon the wall.
