I am so unhappy,
So sad you see,
For thoughts of death,
Have come to me.

The tantrums you throw,
Are unkind and cruel,
I fear that talking to you,
Would only add fuel.

But now as I have no choice,
Because the children must not see,
I think it best to get away,
For the children and me.

I have lost too much weight,
For the stress I do feel,
Please let me go,
So a friendship we'll have still.

I deserve to be happy,
Away from you it must be,
Let us split on equal terms,
I want to be free.

You knew I could not,
Forever take things this way,
I do not deserve this,
I cannot stay.

To make things work,
I have tried my best,
BUt just not good enough,
I guess.

Think of the children,
What is best for them,
Would you want their lives,
To be this grim?

Would you want them,
To marry guys such as you?
If you do not,
Then you know what to do.

Grant me a divorce,
So my life I can mend,
So happiness to our friends,
I'll no longer pretend.
