She dreams of the demons
from deep within the shadows
Scars are her only memory
from the past she longs to forget
When the demons attack once more
she turns her head to the light
She tells herself one day
the scars will heal and all shall be well
But as time turns, she cries
her patience is hard to find
She fears being alone
as she thinks of that love that keeps her alive
Then the demons attack again
and she turns her head once more
Her hopes and dreams have faded
only time will decide her fate
Nightmears of her past
bring endless nights and fear
As the light grows stronger
her patience emerges from its depths
The demons she fights with hope
and she turns her head to the light
She knows she will survive
with her love by her side
