Shadows across the wall
Dancing with silver rays
Flowing, playing moonlight
Making its way across my room

Black bars of iron
In a single window
Visions of freedom tempting
If only I could get through

Bonds tie down hands
And feet of a figure
Alone in a bed
Trying to break free

Hair as black as midnight
Skin as pale as the moon
Limp form struggling
To reach sanity again

Eyes oof silver shadowed
By the pain of a haunting past
Soul is being devoured
By an endless fire inside

Stars sparkle brightly
Playing in the sky
Mocking me for my struggle
That will never end

Breathing in the cold night air
A rare smile plays on my face
Just one moment to feel
Where all other feelings are lost

Deamons torment my mind
Bringing visions of defeat
Freedom at my fingretips
That I can never reach

This place is my home
Where air air blows into my room
Tempting me to freedom
A dream never to come true
