I lye dieing
In a pool of my blood
My life flowing freely away
Wounds inflicted by myself

Darkness covers my eyes
My soul is screaming
Wake my restless form
From this eternal nightmare

Specks of my life
Fall to the floor
I try to kill this pain,
But only bring more torment

The demons call my name
Pulling me down to their dark abyss
Riping away all that's left of sanity
My own dark reality

Silent screams
Echo through the silence
Screamsing not in hatred or fear
But of my finale victory

Colors mix and swirl
I fall never hitting the ground
Closing my eyes and drifting
Into death's eternale sleep

I like the ending, the part about swirling colors got me for some reason...I just picture a lot of colors swirling together. Great Write

I can't get past the title...reminds me of an evanescence tune....

Yeah, as I read it, I can't get the tune out of my head. Good song. And well, the poem's not bad but I'm not the best judge now that I'm distracted by a tune...
