Darkness Surrounds

Darkness surrounds me
I hear the whispers
Of forgotten memories
That once were

Love does not come
For one so dark
One such as I
Whose feelings aren't shown

Feelings left inside
My heart is cold
Light does not come
My soul left untouched

Everything fading
Nothing is left
Once was my heart
Which beats no more

Colors are lost
Nothing around me
Doom has befallen
On one dark soul

Deeper than death
Where shadows won't come
Can not be seen
But darkness surrounds
