my head above water,
as desire to let go,
grows even hotter,
watching you sit,
with that sad look on your face,
like I'm doing this to hurt you,
but I just cant stand this place,
I cant stand to be without you,
without you by my side,
Into your eyes I cannot look,
and from your gaze I try to hide.
You tell me to forget about you,
But I just dont want to start,
I made myself so vulnerable,
and you just ate my heart,
So I'll cry and spill my blood,
for you to wash it down,
as you watch me struggle,
but I know I'm going to drown,
With all the tears I've cried for you,
I could drown in that deep well,
your love is all I need to save me,
but I dont think you can tell,
And I feel so incomplete,
And I wish that you could see,
how happy we once were,
and how happy we could be,
And it hurts so bad without you,
because I'm without a part of me.
