Sitting and staring,
at the night sky,
watching each cloud,
that passed me by,
basking in the moonlight,
delighting at the stars,
admiring all this beauty,
in sync with the headlights of cars,
but compared to you,
this beauty pales,
compared to yours,
night's beauty fails.

For you, my juliette,
are the envy of the moon,
and it would curse you through the night,
for your beauty bright as noon,
but the envious moon,
must leave at daybreak,
for it cannot cry in day,
for its pitiful sake,
It is then you step into the world,
and brighten up the day,
and with your inner beauty,
you show us all the way,
for the world wants to be with you,
and i wish you could see,
that one man wishest to be close with you,
and that man is me.
