I feel
A sinking glimpse
This can’t be real
I’m lost inside
Outside reality

I’m caught up in this moment
But this isn’t where I want to be

I see
A passing glance
It’s me
I fear I have no chance
Within, or without
To find

The real, behind the fake
And still
I don’t know
To taste
I don’t feel

I won’t let you get inside of me
I won’t let you get inside of me
Still, you reach out to find me
But I can’t let you get inside of me
