Seasons turn
And hearts may burn
For whatever else
I hope we learn
Childish games
Thoughts deranged
Keeps us all
In our little cage
Love lost
Despite the cost
We fight and fight
Until we exhaust
Friends gained
Lost in pain
Do these dramas
Keep us sane?
Planets turn
And hearts may burn
But for whatever else
I hope we learn
Children cry
Good men die
People mourn
The loss inside
Good things come
But only to some
Good things go
And we “become”
Pain is real
But at least we feel
Loss is certain
That’s the deal
We all will lose
We cannot choose
The price of life
We all pay our dues
Children hate
But it’s not to late
To change their mind
To change their fate
Nothing’s concrete
Not even deceit
We wear our heart
On our feet
Lives turn
Hearts may burn
But for whatever else
I hope we learn
