Foolishness lies in all of us
Telling us what we want to believe
Tempting our senses with lies over lies
Misdirecting our wills to paths of their own
“You’re defiant as fuck
You need to get laid”
“Screw you”
“See?”
“That’s not defiant, it’s oppressed rage.”
“Yeah, what the fuck ever
You need to get laid”
Darkness falls quickly on those who listen
Uncertainty falls on those who will not
Vagueness of values blurred by the disruption
Of tiny insignificant seeds of doubt
“You could entertain yourself for hours in a blank room with a silver gun”
“That’s okay. My imaginary friends would keep me company…”
Perception of righteousness is different to all
Perfection belongs to foolhardy men
Mindless hypocrisies between men and women
Disappointed to the point of giving in
“Do you know the difference between paparazzi and stalkers?”
“Cameras?”
“Yeah, so I’m just gonna stalk you with a camera in my back pocket.”
“Just as long as my picture ends up in a magazine.”
The sense of these musing is meaningless to some
But those who partake in this melody of words
Will find themselves contemplating the thought
And pondering the musings of one so grim
“Have you ever thought about fucking someone for so long that it just starts to drive you crazy”
“You know, if you would’ve just bought that blow up doll like I told you to, you wouldn’t be having that problem…”
