I hold on to the
particular moments
that were never there
for anyone
to see

A smile turns in laughter
and I hold on to
your face ...
Nobody else could look
at you this way.

I hold on to the
small parts of the day,
just to taste another
kind of perfume
and forget your own

But how do you forget
what you swore to know ??

Your smile turned
to laughter
and my eyes have grown
worn ..

I hold on to the instant
I held you close to me
and it was there
for no one else
to see

oh ..but ...no one could say
and nobody could ever
tell me ..

Your arms

two vacant spaces

as I held

myself .

Takes me to the days when I visited my then fiance's flat near panhandlers park. How naive I was, yet how poignant the memory.
