Sometimes
I visualize the end
before I can
listen to what
the beginning
has to say

Sometimes
you get so close
While I have to
pull away

It's not
my intention
to appear
as the witch breaking your dawn
though I sometimes
become one

Of all people
I know
you seem like the
best of angels
and I just wished I knew
the way to see your heaven

Black flies
appear
to blind my view
And I know
I just know
that what was standing before me
was you

It's not
my intention
to be
the bad ass chick that runs
though I always
become one

It's just
that
sometimes
you need to...
swallow your tears
sometimes
you have to...
unknow what you know

And it is my own darkness
not yourself
It is not your darkness
but my own

Don't you see....?

Can't you see....?
That saints and sin
don't mix
at least not to the point
that everybody would think so

saints and sin
don't mix
just sin with
everything else...
just myself with
everybody else.

There is a softness and sadness to the rhythm of your poems that caresses and slows my pulse. It is as if you wrap your hand around my heart and gently squeeze your words into my being. And there is no judgment in them, only patient and wise observations.

"to appear as the witch breaking your dawn" it's difficult to see you in this light, but the poetry is splendid, and yur reasons are yours...

"unknow what you know" splendid philosophy as sometimes it is the only answer, as the original sin.
