While you were sleeping
I got to arrange the room
into some brighter zoom
of light...
At the other side
of the glassed window
there is a moon...

In between the
silence
there is a communication
more understood
than words.
And as you slept
I got to tell you
I was afraid of
what would happen next
when you opened your eyes
and the world was real again.
But your face
stood there in a peaceful
state...
You appear more brave
this way.

I am unseen
As you sleep...
Visible perchance
inside
one of the dreams
rushing
through your mind.
I can only guess
the image you have
of me right now....
Because what I see
staring back at me
is a boy
and a man
when caught up in my arms.
And I can't get to
truly close my eyes
so fully...
While you are sleeping
there is your own beauty
shining before me
there is your own beauty
you never get to see.

"At the other side of the glassed window there is a moon" this is absolutely beautiful; your words moved and stirred my soul, gracefully, like butterfly wings...

foxxxy, you opened my eyes wide shut to this beautiful composition; wide shut as I can see the imagery behind my closed eyes, "Visible perchance inside..."

I really like the title to this piece. There is much depth to this theme that will have to go unexplained in this comment. It's the beauty of complete helplessness in slumber. Nice write again.
