Captivated by your lingering shadow
remnants of love, my eternal prison
each lifetime binds me once again
With every day we share
a new link is forged in my chains
death is now and will always be

My only redemption

Yet still within my mortal slumber
my spirit craves life anew
a chance to bind my flesh to yours
as we have done lifetimes before
Humbled before you I anticipate the bliss
bound by your beguiling poetry

My only weakness

Forsaking all else to taste you
writhing with pleasure just to hear your voice
pains of hunger course through me
Every moment you are gone is torture
desire so primal it takes my very sanity
your touch the only cure for my sickness

My only need

My only redemption ... hmm and very singled out. And so it continues .... I fail to pay tribute to poetry this caliber these days. It does spawn thoughts and feeling still, but to put that into words is another matter ... *bows* Tiger
