I know you wish to eat them
my non existent tears
caressing the dams of my hate
built up throughout the years
Swallow whole the memories
eyes face down unto my hands
painted thick in dirty blood
not a soul here understands

shift: change this tone
new story to be told

Cowering beneath the shade
of glittering white razor blades
tiny drops of lusty red
kissing death 'pon the head
lay awake and still aware
bubbling skin hits the air
crash down my wrists of ashy scars
as i go to fetch the shards
broken rings and broken life
shaking fingers grip the knife
bless me this, one more kiss
relive the pure cutting bliss
cold tile floors neath my skin
feel the blades are sinking in
screaming voices here inside
bleeding just to feel alive
god im sick mental way
telling scars where to play
sighing once and leaning back
giving lungs my breath back
feelings creeping not unmade
by glittering white razor blades.

rarely is "kissing" associated with cutting (that I know of), but it works in this poem.

oh a trip down memory lane. Beautiful but yet horrifying at the same time. A terrific match. ~gothic~
