dark
cold, blind, numb
tears roll silently, deep in an empty heart
feet treading slowly to sheer edge
no thought no preparation no time
no ground

falling
awakening, swimming, pushing, forcing
blasting down
not a plummeting rock
a rocket from space to earth
released, unleashed
alive and living
wind resists in vain while

gravity roars
heart beats as mind speeds
birthdays scroll behind wide eyes
earth howls in greedy anticipation
empty heart explodes on blissful impact as

the bottom of a bottomless pit is satisfied.

wow. Yes I agree with Dave, very powerful indeed. Felt like I was falling with you, and at the same time I felt a fist to my face. Great. Tiger
