Why did I ever try to kid myself,
I should have known nothing last.
There is no ONE for me.
Just ones that can last for a while.
I’m too wild, can’t be tamed.
I’m just too strong for them all,
Or just maybe too weak
But time will go on.
Things must always change,
Except me, I’ll never change.
There will be no ONE for me.
Just the ones that try holding on.
But who could ever stay with such a beast.
Inside me something lingers.
It will suck the life out of anyone,
Who dares to come too close.
There is no ONE who could bear that,
Only ones that may try.

I agree. Perhaps you can hope for one that can hang on long enough as well. ~T
