At night the demons always come
I close my eyes to sleep
Then they always appear

Holding me down, whispering in my ear
They tell me they own me
I’ve always been their slave

Controlling my every move and thought
They use me for their bidding
They’ll drag me down to an early grave

I am their vessel, they use me
They invade and violate my body
Spent and exhausted they leave my remains

I quiver in fear once they’re gone
Petrified of the results of their assault
Crying and longing for one night of peace

I really enjoyed the fact that there's no set 'rhyme scheme' to this, just very well wrought poetics. Nice one :) -Carl

There really wasnt any rhyme scheme, any ryhming was accidental. Was going to try but changed my mind.
