The darkness begins to pull me in,
To a depression only I know.
I'm encompassed by deep pain,
Confused and lost, with no where to go.

Waking up today I faced reality,
A pain so real it's become a friend.
I fight the painful agony off,
Alone and waiting for my inevidable end.

The sorrow in my heart has replaced my smile,
I battle the pain and shed a tear.
I've lost the fight within myself,
What have I left to fear?

I awoke today with a question to ponder--
How do I ever again trust anyone?
The insanity slowly begins to devour me,
I finally realize what's been done.

It's my life, I've screwed it all up
I've continually done things wrong.
When will the pain end?
Can it possibly take that long?
