Sitting and waiting
Wasting away my life
I could be having fun
Somewhere else, without strife.
Demented are my thoughts
Pain is all I can feel
Disillusions of honesty
The lies all seem too real.
Fighting off the depression
Chasing away my fears
Running from the brutality
Holding back the tears.
One lie after another
The truth is also a lie,
For if you really loved me
I wouldn't want to die.
Thinking of a day long ago
When your love for me was true
A time when you'd kill for me
Like I would do for you.
I find that I've been blinded
For far too long by the tears I cry,
But the good days are over,
You're just another lie.
