I woke up this morning
Not knowing what I'd face
Just another day gone by
Just a waste of space.
The sun sets to bring the moon
Anotherlong night
Passing on a dream come true
Yet, I do NOTHING right.
I close my eyes
In another world I am
I've come to the conclusion
Life is a scam.
You're raised one way
Another way you're taught
Hypocrites they're called
But they're all you've got.
Treated special, and well,
They did everything they could.
No matter what I try
Enough is never good.
Sooner or later I grow up
And here I am today
20 years gone by--
I'ts just another day.
