Thoughts

Deep within the dark
Disturbing me.
Memories of a past--
   Twisted love...
      Painful trust...
Losing time,
  entranced by visions.
Haunting me.
Taunting me.
Frightening me.
  The river flows...
   O'er my cheeks...
    Tracing my face...
     tickling my chin...
Overflowing
streaming
Waterfalls in my eyes
Captive in my mind
Absense of a sanity.
   Drowning in pain-
    overpowering,
    defenseless,
    trapped...
               I swim free--
              No more tears--
               I break free.
