I sink lower in the water
trying to dissappear
Each breath becomes a struggle
and my heart cannot take the pain

My eyes slowly roll back
and my mind goes blank
My mind says die
but my soul says live

That voice...
making me do good
no, I am going to see my mom
she needs me now

seconds turn into minutes
the water turns deep red
I see a flash
and my body goes limp

I see her from afar,
She touches my cheek
she mutters "you do have a reason to live
and your destiny is not here"

something catches in my throat
and I struggle for air
I lurch for the surface
and a breath never felt so good.

love the ending...the neverending journey. you took a piece of the most beautiful experiences...life. the breath after the deprivation is amazing isnt it?
