another brick layed down
a step towards the golden sun
a new light to brighten the day
and banish the old one from sight

a warm smile across my face
a humble begining
a commendable way
to illuminate a fresh day

with hope in sight
the mountain only gets taller
each footprint embellished in the ground
makes one more reason to stay

That must be such a hard time to pass the anniversary of. I really feel for you. This is such a beautiful poem, like the light at the end of a long dark tunnel. I'm so impressed, it must take courage. Good luck, my dear. : ) ~Wish Upon A Star
