people
worship
a different type
of God

money doesn't mean everything
it is
everything
it offers hope
the promise of something
better
worshippers believe
it will make them
into the person
they wish to be
i think
it will turn them into
the person
they most dislike
as they
build
shopping cart steeples
on the churches
of
greed

i always found it
interesting
the sermons
on how
worldly goods
mean nothing
right before
they pass
the collection plate

buy
your way to
the Divine

did you hear?
i think they're having
a sale
on
salvation
