This is part of my Solstice (Season) Series.

The newborn Sun offers a dazzling smile
deep breaths are readily taken
the sleepy awaken ready to work and play
blankets laundered and folded, now tucked away

Days stretch longer hugging the warm winds
warmth begins to wrap around the soul
all around us, life begins to take shape
babes of promise cutting their first tooth

Now is the time to plant the seeds
offered to mother earth's fertility
taking deeply into our soul the seeds of love
pillowed clouds float by, keeping infinite secrets safe

21st day of March, The Spring Equinox
spring sheds her heavy sweaters
ready to prepare for rebirth, invocations offered up
the newest moon holding rituals of abundance

Lovers lips plump and pink offer promises
breathing words of love and devotion
hardly able to await until the next mid season
when two souls will coil into one - handfasted

The Spring Goddesses offer a dance of fertility
Ostara, Kore, Maiden
The courting Gods reassuring rebirth
Hare, Green Man

May the suns warm rays
settle upon your shoulder
and the joy of rebirth
keep your table plentiful

Blessed be...

These last two works were both stimulating and intriguing. I do not know of much when it comes to these rituals, but I know whether you are pagan or not, these words are a collection of beauty and relatable in every way to what we witness. Keep them goi
