a flicker in the dark
a trigger snapped
a surprise attack
climax

one set played
smash your guitar
then go backstage
and get laid

hit the top
all the way up
long way down
seek a proper drop

too high
can't fly
just fall - with style
wait a while
let it sink in
drink up
fall out
and stop

known by one name
fifteen minutes of fame

[can't get much better than this]

then it's gone

artists are best remembered
when they're dead anyway
