The following were written by George "Dubya" Bush to his wife Laura. No joke. Seriously, I'm not kidding.

"Roses are red
Violets are blue
Oh my, lump in the bed
How I've missed you."

"Roses are redder
Bluer am I
Seeing you kissed by that
Charming French guy."

"The dogs and the cat, they missed you too
Barney's still mad you dropped him, he ate your shoe
The distance, my dear, has been such a barrier
Next time you want an adventure, just land on a carrier."

Heheh. I think it's kinda adorable. It looks like something my boyfriend might have dashed off in about 10 minutes because he was feeling cutesy. And what would Clinton have written? Roses are red/your dress is blue/don't stop honey/I'm gonna spew"?

It makes me wonder how would have Gore been as President, at least our national parks would have been safe, But I think Bush Sr. then Clinton, and now Bush Jr. I shudder at who may be next.
