I never much radiated light
For I like my mood dark and cool
But sometimes I feel like I'm flying
My world brightens up
And it's all cause of you.
Stay awhile
Tell me about your day
Time matters not
And I don't care what they say
Though I must admit I've strained
To keep myself restrained
But I can't help knowing
I'm glowing
From seeing you

I'm positively glowing
The light within is flowing
A stream of sunburst caught up
In tomorrow's rise
I live alone in the dark
But once you've come
It's so hard
To go
Back to my darkness
Alone

It seems like long ago
I was on my own
And still I seem to be
Clinging to that comfort
Clinging to that which I know
But I'd like to stop that
I'd like to let myself go
For I shouldn't fear the dark anymore
Cause now I've got my glow
Can't you see?
Don't you know?
I'm glowing
I'm glowing cause of you

I like the fact that you put rymes in your poem but the whole thing doesnt ryme its a very nice poem i like it alot!

Thanks, I'm recording it as a song, so the rhyming pattern is partially to suit that purpose.
