I could see the world in black and white
I could see time in day and night
But opposite's attact and not everything is clear
There's this shady colour between there and here

And not everything's one or the other
Not everybody's just one of those colours
Vision is blurry, the world's getting foggy
And I know the tones aren't quite so easy to see

Differences everywhere, but so much the same
Even extremes have to put up with the blame
There's no polar opposites, I just don't believe in it
For everything's related in order for everything to fit

I could paint a picture, but I'd need more colours
I'd need some glasses that don't have shady covers
For even clear can tint the picture astray
See the world as it is: it's just grey.

How singular and ubiquitous in truth... all at once. So liberal, and yet I enjoyed it. ~JMDW~

The world is a mix of colour. Though I'm sure that word has alot more meaning behind it than just the plain red, green, etc.(not included black). Just a mass of one big colour were everything is seen as one...

Hm... I think it's rarely a clear colour, usually it's a mixture of extremes.

a unique piece! I enjoyed reading this... in some off-handed way it reminded me of "dorian gray" (sp?) and I don't mean I was influenced by the title! "excellent!"
