These words
Drug-induced babble
Reduced terms that seduce
The senses and cause one to say
Things that should be left
Unsaid
Emotional, chemical imbalance
Stemming from the fantasy
Of tasting something
Oh so addictive
Overwhelming
Tidal waves of thought
And feelings only leave me
Hollow, empty
Till I get
Another taste
Disconnection
From all attention
Dissuasion and persuasion
Accidently utilized
Intentions good
But outcomes
Often bad
And still I drink to thee
For I've said words
I meant but yet
I should've
Waited
Said them
Slowly
One
At
A
Time
Instead I exposed you
To the turbulant rush
Of emotion
Devotion
Hopes and dreams
Perhaps I've created
A mess, unintentionally
And I apologise
Perhaps
"I love you"
Is just my personal
Justification
For wanting you
I crave you like a smoker
Craves their nicotine
You are my drug
