Time to meet your maker
Time to see your life
Fly past your eyes
Like a sitcom
Memories
Some fast, some slow
Some sad, some happy
Some stupid
Time wasted
Why?
It's not like
You didn't know
You wouldn't die
Someday
Somehow
But you put it off
Like homework
Procrastinating
Spending your days
Doing nothing
Or maybe doing
Something completely
Irrelevant
You should have lived
A life
But instead you
Put it off
Because you thought
Life begins at
Graduation
At twenty-one
At thirty
At forty
At fifty
At sixty
And then you
Realize you
Haven't lived
Quite the way
You wished
But what to do?
You can't go back
They say
You only live once
And others
They say you live
Again
Reborn
Resurrected
Reincarnated
But when?
And how will you remember it?
Unconscious
Only once in
This consciousness
No matter how many
Times the soul's reborn
So now you
Grasp to life
And realize
Your own
Mortality.

Said in a very down to earth kinda way ... I feel screwed, and im very pissed. Everything sounding smart and wise is wasted on mortality. So hey why did some of the dudes, people realy look up to, ramble about it? That makes me even more pissed.

I woke up after an hour of sleep with this dreadful realization. I keep thinking about it, yet I feel so shackled from truly living my life. I can't believe I haven't seen your works before! Wonderful write.

no one ever lives life in the way they wanted... and i personally feel that destinations are for losers... a beautiful piece once again... truth you strike near...

and i must say though i'd rather not, to avoid seeming condescention(sp?) but i really enjoy seeing your pieces and knowing of your youth. you see things it takes others years to see

When one grasps hold of life thats where the fun begins. Why the hell am I still sitting at my computer desk? Life begins when you least expect it...

it is sad to think of all the lives that are being wasted. lots of things are uncontrollable in that way, however. good delve into this area, though. nice write. :)
