Perfect change
Blond again
and all shiny and new
Colorized

Clean and polished
painted pretty
sweet and friendly
borderline bubble filled

Lip gloss
Thick mascara
framing the same ol’ blue
just a little more sparkle than usual

New cd’s in the stereo
new reliance on new technologies
and an increased appreciation for aesthetics

Consumed by nutrition facts
Homebodied with monogamy
eloquent
substituting straight up for frou frou drinks

Blond again
and doing laundry
cooking
cleaning

but maybe it’s just really
a better disguise for all the crazy
that I’m keeping inside

Seems like a new mask for hiding what you really are.. a fear of what's underneath.. perhaps it is plain and not crazy.. if everybody just admitted their craziness, it'd be standard, & we'd have nothing to disguise.

Welcome back... Is it an disguise? a question that I can relate to in my way. Sometimes even saying "I dont disguise myself" can be an disguise.. Maybe this is living out the crazyness in these small things insteed of an disguise?..

No matter what, it made me think about how we change over time, and made me think about how I enjoy people being diffrent. Tiger
