A new born star
Radiance unaltered
Untouched
Unscathed
Hope rides with its eloquent light
Time
Eons of life
Watching
Civilizations are founded
Built
Over time
The fall and rise of empires
Bare witness to the creations of man
Death
Unavoidable
As time passes
As does death
As those that kept this star company fade
Only the passing of time is the feeling left to her
Observation,
A way of life
Watching
Waiting
Alone she stares
Her time is neigh
But her light remains unaltered by times hand
(It fails to show)
Radiance
The star dies
As does this girl
Her face
An unaltered illumination
No matter what life held
Hope shone through
And gave us all hope
Bare witness to the death of purity
Unnoticed
Never taken into consideration
All pause to partake in the beauty of her death
She shone brighter than ever that day
As she fell out of the midnight sky
She took our breath with her last…
(Make a wish)
