Candlelight and acoustic shows
with fingers like feathers on my back.

I think I'm finally awake-
filled with the sudden realizations
only six strings can provide.

I could fall in love with your song
if I gave myself the chance.

Do not mistake my words,
for it is not you I desire,
but the electricity hidden within your hands -
[...makes me whole once again.]

Fill me with your passion,
your courage, your voice,
and I'll follow your every lead
for just a fragment of insight.

Grant to me:
Ambition to walk on water,
Ability to stand on my own,
Dreams of being held.
And I will drain a thousand pens in your honor.
Each word inked with the delicate precision
and strategic position of
the strands of hair so often shadowing your eyes.

Place my hand in yours,
and I, too, shall live forever...

"I could fall in love with your song if I gave myself the chance." the reason i love this so much is cause i sort of felt a version of this..except when i heard this guy play the piano, a really really long time ago

and..my heart sort of flipped over..and i wanted to run away with him, just for hearing him play, hearing his music..was like the most intimate moment ever..and the most beautiful. reading this recreates that feeling for me, in a way.

As a Musician(bassist/vocalist) this is just incredable, Its so perfect. It allows you to follow a small path in your mind that you feel towards the person with the guitar. Perfection.-Dark

Heh very cool way of putting this. I think the same can be said about good words and you've captivated me in the way you described being captivated yourself. Very nicely done. ~Ryan
