A piece of my heart died today
-and-
I can't make sense
of anything.

Childish tears don't compare
to those shed with no alternative.

Sip away at the crystal clear.
What used to numb pain now only causes more.
And where do we go from here?

We can never go back again
Forward hurts too much
and sides take you nowhere.

Where do we go from here?

A piece of my heart died today
-and-
There is no cure this time.

the epicenter of the heartbreak is always the worst because devastation is all around you, like you said you can't go in any direction.
