Today I took a step back
to see myself through my own eyes.
Invisible mirrors have never been so alarming.
She takes the shape of innocence
with blonde hair and blue eyes.
She is Genius, hiding behind the perfect smile
with a casual flip of her hair.
She is:
The ancient, yet futuristic me.
The 'What Could've/Should've/Would've Been' me.
What you hoped for all along.
And I was proud of her.
And I was disappointed in me.
