My feelings wane
Falling to earth like shooting stars
Or wingless angels
Plummeting from heaven
They fall under the weight of gravity
I am at the end of my tether
Desperately fighting to break into your pull
Wishing to be under your gravitational charm
To be caught in a controlled freefall
Until I collapse in a heap on the ground
Tides bow to gravity no longer
My lost conviction caused the moon to fall
The ocean to swallow it up
A glowing night light for one thousand years
A warning beacon to those who try to save me
Your gravity kept my planet-sized emotions in orbit
Now that pull has loosed its grip
Submitting to the pressure of progression
My feelings spin chaotically out of control
On a collision course with the absence of you
You are the gravity that kept me in place
The force that prevented me from flying apart
An energy binding me to reality
Losing you will cause my universe to collapse
Creating a black emotional hole
I am spiraling out of control
Like a rogue black hole
Engulfing those around me
The result of a galaxy of dreams losing gravity
Imploding self destruction
It was never the effort it is now
You were here
Everything was held together
But then you left
And all gravity was lost
